Q : Dear sir,
            You always propagate the necessity of the three act structure in screenplays, but Torantino, Nolan, or Alejandro movies couldn't follow up the structure? Then their movies are considered classics? How can you explain this?

A : Every movie will have a three act structure come what may - ie a beginning, a middle and an end, but not neccesarily in that order. What you see in those movies that of those directors you have mentioned is- jumbled order.

Q : Sir.
            The way you are analyzing Blood Simple story structure is most educating enterprise to me. These writings reveal so many tremendous truths to me about script writing. So please don’t discontinue writing on this subject. This is my humble request.

Q: Sir,
            Regarding Happy Bhag Jayegi, is it possible the writer doesn’t have any idea of how the hero and the heroine should get married? So obviously the Bagga character will not marry her. Her  father’s character won’t agree as well.  So the writer has no option but to do the only thing with hero’s  character? So to convince the audiences, he  might have created that Madhubala  scene, in which the hero compares his own life with that of heroine’s? Am I  correct?

A : The story was conceived keeping in mind that it shouldn’t  end up stereo typing the lead characters. If the hero gets married to heroine, it will become another regular masala.  And will also turn up another Indian boy meets Pak girl kinda movie. It’s outright out of box creation, to which in Telugu our people still consider taboo…
